LEADERSHIP SPONSORS
Applications are available in the early Spring Semester and consist of an application, three teacher recommendations and a review of grades and attendance. Students who qualify are then asked to participate in our peer interview process.
HALLOWEEN AT LAWRENCE
Be Safe:
- Students must keep their face visible at all times. No masks, hoods, or excessive makeup/gore may be worn.
- Clown costumes may not be worn.
- Weapons or replica weapons may never be brought to school.
- Costumes may not restrict the movement of a student, obscure the view of others, or cause a danger to themselves or others.
- Appropriate footwear must be worn at all times. No high heels, slippers, or open toes shoes may be worn.
Be Responsible:
- Costumes may not be too revealing. No sleepwear, bathing suits, French Maids, etc.
- Costumes must not interfere with the instructional program or other student's ability to learn.
- Costumes must be appropriate for students at the middle school level.
Be Respectful
- Costumes should be fun but may not be demeaning to any ethnic group, race, religion, disability, gender, or individual staff or student.
- Students should respect themselves and the rights of others to safely enjoy the Halloween festivities.
- Respect the classroom environment and not lose sight of the focus on learning.
