Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) - Non-School-Sponsored Events

The purpose of the PTO is to enhance and support the educational experience at Ernest Lawrence Middle School (a public school within the Los Angeles Unified School District), to develop a closer connection between school and home by encouraging parental involvement, and to improve the environment at Ernest Lawrence Middle School through volunteer and financial support.

Activities will include fundraising, supporting student welfare by assisting needy students and their families, enhancing school activities and community outreach through financial support, and sponsoring events that promote the home and school connection.

If you want to be involved in PTO or would like to be kept informed about our monthly meetings and other events or opportunities to help, please fill out this form. This is NOT a commitment to help - just an email list to keep you informed.

These PTO-sponsored activities are not affiliated with the school, meaning participants attend in a personal capacity, not as LAUSD employees or students. Since it is outside the scope of employment or enrollment, participants are not insured, compensated, or protected by the school or LAUSD for any incidents, losses, illnesses, or injuries that may occur while traveling to and from or during the event.
