At Lawrence Middle School, students will identify as mathematicians and see the beauty and joy in mathematics. Teachers will provide opportunities for all students to engage in mathematical discourse, sense making, and meaningful problem solving. Students will be willing to approach novel mathematical situations with adaptability, insight, and creativity.
