Welcome to Lawrence Middle School Magnet Program!
I am excited to serve Lawrence Middle School as the Magnet Coordinator for Gifted and Pioneering Science. In this position, my goal is to enhance our Magnet schools by developing innovative programs to expand student opportunities while elevating academic achievement for all participants. Previously, I had the pleasure of serving as a High School Magnet Coordinator and Dean at Monroe High School. Before that, I was a secondary Special Education teacher working with students having Mild/Moderate autism, dyslexia, ADD/ADHD, and other auditory/visual processing disorders. I mostly taught Biology and other sciences, but also Social Studies, English, and Math. I enjoyed my time in the classroom, and I am proud to lead this program, along with our dedicated staff, as we prepare our students for success in high school, higher education, and be career-ready.
I hold a Bachelor's degree from The Master’s College (Communications). I also earned two Master’s degrees from National University (Education) and Capella University (Administrative/Instructional Leadership).
